Aug. 13 – Eight women, with different backgrounds and histories, came together to support dialogue in a beautiful but torn land. Faten Elzinaty, Tehilabilha Barshalom, Basima Halabi, Hedva Goldschmidt, Adina Barshalom, Dganit Fachima, Syhal Ibrahimmar, and Nuha Farran are the eight “women for peace” who animated Trento’s Middle East Factory. They come from Israel, but from different communities and religions, but in Trento they joined forces and embarked on a project that would have been in their homeland. Their story is now a documentary, “A possible dialogue – 8 women of peace in Jerusalem,” presented by director Gilad Goldschmidt yesterday in Madonna di Campiglio during the “Mountain Mysteries” sessions.
