Aug. 23 – Extra virgin olive oil is one of Italy’s most appreciated products in the East, as it emerged from the recently concluded “Apulia Food Oriente 2013” held in Hong Kong. The event, organized by the Puglia Region and the Eastern Italian Chamber of Commerce of Bari, saw the participation of Troiano, a company with 50 years of experience in olive oil production, transformation and commercialization. The fair brought together all of China’s major food representatives, “in a market characterized by high competition and decreasing prices,” says administrator Giovanni Troiano, “we need to let our high product quality known. We are particularly lucky because we produce cultivar coratina, an olive oil with such a distinguished flavor that educated palates can easi,y recognize.” The company produces various olive oils, including biological ones, as well as other oil-based products. All products come from natural sources and are transformed and processed following state of the art procedures.
