Sept. 17 – ” The objective of the partnership is to export Italian expertise and its innovative energy, which represents an opportunity for growth. Hence, we are not talking only food and fashion, but also talent and excellence in sectors with a high innovation rate. We want to encourage and promote a virtuous circle for technology transfers from our companies abroad,” said Fabio De Furia, president of the Consorzio Roma Ricerche, as he illustrated the institutional agreement signed in Miami between the Consortium and the Italian-American SouthEast Chamber of Commerce. The new partnership involves the activation of an operating desk in Florida for Italian companies wishing to introduce their high-value added products and processes in South East states, in Latin America and the Caribbean. The agreement aims to facilitate the creation of institutional information networks on issues and opportunities offered by these markets; intercept and share new business models and innovative strategies (know-how and innovative services); and generate outgoing and incoming processes. The sectors involved include: Aerospace, Green Economy, ICT for Heritage and Cultural Activities, Biotechnology, and Creative Industries. The Consorzio Roma Ricerche (which includes among its members the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” the University of “Roma Tre,” LUISS – Guido Carli, CNR, ENEA, Unicredit, Finmeccanica Cciaa of Rome, and Unindustria) will accompany the Italian companies wishing to expand into these markets, providing information and marketing and promotion services, such as as market research, planning meetings with research centers, business incubators and economic promotion agencies, support for the management of events and exhibitions, creating profiled mailing systems and technical-legislative assistance.
