Sept. 23 – “Amazing and unique,” to which we add great, important, special. These words, spoken at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, describe the performance of the industrial and commercial company Cantiere delle Marche: producers of recreational boating, displacement yachts in steel and aluminum. The Cannes Festival hosted more than 580 boats on display at sea and on land, including more than 150 pieces presented in a world premiere; in this scenario, the Ancona company did not disappoint exhibitors, visitors and potential buyers, and offered its unique craft, result of a new and original concept that starts from reconsidering the priorities of life at sea. The Cantiere delle Marche left the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes with an important award in the category “Best Achievement,” for its excellent results, achieved in less than three years, in a market in sharp decline. With an average of one yacht sold every three months from the beginning of its commercial activities, Cantiere delle Marche’s results deserved the World Yacht Trophy for best performance and results. The company distinguished itself, in essence, in the international yachting scene thanks to the success of the Darwin Class and the Nauta Air explorer yachts, a mix of autonomy, durability, seaworthiness and low power consumption. The judges defined CdM’s service industrial and commercial as “incredible and unique.” That of Cantiere delle Marche can be considered a rare case history for their ability to achieve positive results, even in a depressed and complex market, as is the Boating market since 2008. With four units already delivered, and a backlog that shows deliveries for larger models until 2016, Cantiere delle Marche looks to the future with great conviction, while maintaining its signature feature: the maintenance of a limited production of four deliveries per year for maximum customer focus, a manic approach to detail and quality, and – most importantly – commitment and humility even in the wake of these incredible successes.
