Oct. 2 – London, Nancy, Lugano, Cartagena, Monaco, Cenon, and Bremen; England, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and France: these are the locations touched by Raphael Gualazzi’s 2013 tour. After a short break, the artist is ready to resume the tour that has already taken him around in Italy and abroad. Adding the six months of touring, the singer-songwriter pianist from Urbino is ready for new live adventures for the theater leg of his “Happy Mistake Tour”. The author of “Follia d’amore” will be on October 9 at Pizza Express in London. He will then move to France – on October 16 – and later to Lugano on the 23rd. He will continue traveling around Italy and Europe until the end of March, promoting the unique sound and songs from his latest album “Happy Mistake,” published on February 14 for Sugar. His musical passions make their way on the record and are also present during the live shows, effectively meaning that Gualazzi is an artist to discover and rediscover with every new performance. These passions are characterized by a strong international vocation: jazz and blues, forays into gospel and soul, rock and country music, not to mention a tribute to the classics, such as Verdi and Rota. On stage, the artist will be accompanied by nine musicians, 7 of whom are French (3 back-up singers). Gualazzi recently appeared on a number of Italian TV shows, including last Sunday evening when he was on Fabio Fazio’s “Che tempo che fa.” The soundtrack of the same RAI-3 show relies on Gualazzi’s artistic creativity, and his original music.
