Oct. 28 – Brussels, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Zurich, London, Amsterdam and New York: these are the cities touched by Modà. The band led by Francesco Silvestre, better known as Kekko, announced a few days ago the dates of their upcoming international tour that will take them in seven European cities and the United States. They will return to Italian stages in the Summer, with the Olympic Stadium in Rome (July 11) and then at the San Siro Stadium in Milan (July 19). But Kekko, Enrico Zapparoli, Diego Arrigoni, Stefano Forcella and Claudio Dirani will release on November 19 their album, “Gioia…non è mai abbastanza!” (distributed by Artist First), a re-release of their multiplatinum album “Gioia” (Italy’s best selling album in the first half of 2013 with 200,000 copies ) with two new songs. The first is “Dov’è sempre sole,” re-edited with the participation of Pau Donés of Jarabedepalo: “Melody and poetry are what makes a song irresistible for us musicians. This is what I feel with Modà, first with their ‘Come un pittore,’ and now with Dov’è sempre sole’. It was impossible – said Pau – to resist and I am very lucky to be part of it. I’m grateful Modà shared this experience with me.” Gioia…non è mai abbastanza! Also contains “Cuore e Vento,” which sees the collaboration with Tazenda: “when Kekko called us to tell us that he had written a song dedicated to Sardinia and asked us to record it with Modà, we said yes before hearing the piece. We are very proud of this collaboration – said Tazenda – because it felt ours: we played, sung and collaborated in the production as much as we could. It was a true meeting of musicians always seeking to improve themselves.”
