Oct. 31 – Food, furnishings, handicrafts and design: the CNA brings a qualified sample of Italian excellence manufacturing to Japanese buyers and journalists. The CNA exhibition, entitled “Discover Italian Excellence,” will be held in Todi 4-7 November. In the Umbrian town, the Confederation of artisans and SMEs partnered up with the concerned Unions, the assistance of ICE and the support of City Hall to allow 40 companies to meet a Japanese delegation. The aim is to present Italy’s productive specificities as part of an articulated program through business meetings and company visits. “Discover Italian Excellence – explains Giorgio Aguzzi, vice president of the CNA – wants to be a promotional model that Confederation seeks to pursue in different regional realities around the globe to promote the Italian lifestyle, which is a compendium of beautiful, good, and well made products.” Faced with the continuing crisis within the domestic market, exports constitute a way out of the recession. And the CNA is working to support the process of internationalization of its associated companies to overcome the difficulties that SMEs face when entering international markets.
