Nov. 21 – Savona shows off its culinary and tourism products in Switzerland. The local Chamber of Commerce offered six companies the chance to participate from Saturday until November 27 at the 2013 Basel Igeho Salon. The Savona stand will present some of the most typical local products, both traditional and creative. The exhibition space will be set up by the Chamber of Commerce of Savona as an “open space area,” without dividing structures but with each space tailored to the particularity of the companies. “Our participation – says the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Savona, Luciano Pasquale – is a stern test for our more dynamic and courageous agri-food businesses. The operators’ direct presence at the fair is an added value that allows to introduce our products directly to Swiss distributors, selected in advance by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland. The goal is to encourage commercial development in a very sensitive market to quality, but complex and difficult to penetrate.”
