Nov. 25 – It all began in 1921, in a family-owned tavern. But today, in 2013, Decordi wines are a step closer to foreign markets. In recent days, an agreement between Unicredit, SACE (a group specializing in supporting exporting businesses) and Decordi Wines was signed in Cremona to support the company’s growth strategy towards international markets. The bank structured a financing transaction for a total of €600.000, with the support of a SACE guarantee of 50%. “Decordi Wines’ internationalization process proceeds at an accelerated pace thanks to the strong increases in sales in different parts of the world – commented Quirico Decordi, president of Decordi Wines Spa – There is thus the necessity of additional financial resources to support this growth, which we found in a partnership with Unicredit and SACE. This combination offers the best immediate support that allows us to further consolidate our internationalization strategies. Decordi Wines is now present in over 40 countries with frequent and continuous supplies.” The operation, one of the first in the territory of Cremona, was structured and coordinated by the Mantova – Cremona Unicredit unit, with the support of the SACE Brescia office, a contact point for businesses in the provinces of Cremona, Brescia and Mantua. The operation provides a medium-term loan with quarterly installments to support investments in the strategic plan developed by Decordi Wines.
