Dec. 3 – “I came here for the first time in 2003, invited to the incredible Festival of the Cigar, a sort of Oscar night with women in evening dresses sipping rum and savoring cigars. Then I looked around a bit and saw the grace and harmony of places and people, I have seen their values, like the great respect for the elderly, or more profane things, like women’s incredible sensuality, the very same sensuality I sing in my songs. In short, I was thunderstruck,” said Zucchero in an interview with Vanity Fair about a year ago, in which he explained his love for Cuba and its music. This led the Emilia-native artist to publish the album “La Sesion Cubana” in November 2012, now multiplatinum. And today, the live double album with DVD “Una Rosa Blanca” comes out. The project includes the audio and video of the legendary and unique concert held in Havana on December 8 2012, a great evening that the artist had promised himself twenty-two years before.
