Dec. 23 – Igor Macchia is a true ambassador of Italian cuisine in the world: the Michelin-starred chef has been working for more than ten years, promoting Italian cuisine in the most famous restaurants around the world and particularly those of Asia, from India to Japan. And now the celebrity chef is preparing for two major events in Oman. Macchia will in fact be at Six Senses Zighy Bay for two special “Gourmet Evenings” reserved exclusively for guests of the resort in January. Macchia will present its five-course dinners at Sense on the Edge, the resort’s restaurant, on January 9 and 11. He will be assisted by the resort’s chef James Knight Pacheco and the Maitre d’ Halil Asar, who will supervise the wine selection.
