Apr. 7 – Angela Bulotta is the new medical director for Italy and Greece of Novo Nordisk. The international company, based in Denmark, appointed the Italian as Clinical, Medical & Regulatory Affairs Director. Bulotta has worked with the pharmaceutical group, which specializes in diabetes and haemophilia, for the past 10 years. Bulotta started as a Diabetes Medical Advisor, to later become a manager within the Medical Affairs Department. She was also a key player in the development, in Italy, of a market for Glucagon-like Peptide-1 analogs and degludec insulin.
