(Apr. 30th) – Having convinced Austria, Puglia moves to Germany with its Puglia Village set up at the Sony Center in Berlin – a modern architectural complex in the district of Tiergarten, near Potsdamer Platz – where it will remain open to the public until May 6. For Berliners it will be a real opportunity to taste Puglia’s food, experience its music and learn about its amazing lands. Berlin is the second stop of the Road Show #Weareinpuglia sponsored by the Puglia Region’s Department of the Mediterranean, Culture and Tourism through Pugliapromozione, the Regional Agency for Tourism. The project aims to raise awareness of the Puglia brand on major European markets. The stop in Berlin follows the successes in Vienna, where curiosity and interest attracted a large number of visitors between April 11-21: 6000 visitors at the Museums Quartier. The Puglia Village in Berlin will provide a dense schedule of events and activities: Virtual Bike, My Virtual tour, the selfie booth, the instanwall (where you can choose a postcard that will then be shipped from Puglia), food and wine workshops, wine and olive oil tastings, music workshops with pizzica and tambourine, and a DJ set in silent disco mode.
