Buenos Aires – Terramatta, the documentary film by Constanza Quatriglio (2012) on Vincenzo Rabito, was chosen to represent Italy in the XI European Cinema Festival, held Buenos Aires May 21-30. “I’m delighted by this recognition,” said Chiara Ottaviano, who produced the film for Cliomedia Workshop in co-production with Luce Cinecittà. “Two years after the premiere in Venice, Terramatta continues to be screened and appreciated in Italy and abroad. It’s an exception for an Italian documentary film, although in recent years the focus on the genre has increased.” Recently, Terramatta was broadcast on Rai5 and Sky arte, as well as many art theaters. In 2013 the documentary won the Silver Ribbon for best documentary film of the year. (9Colonne)
