May 15 – ENAV is increasingly international thanks to a recently won tender in Uganda. The National Flight Assistance Agency (ENAV) already operates via its offices in North Africa, in East African, the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East offering air traffic control services and training, aviation consulting, engineering and flight inspection. ENAV won a tender issued by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority for the provision of inspection and calibration services to the support system for air navigation for the next two years. The tender shows ENAV0s “value in the international arena,” says the managing director, Massimo Garbini. “We won the commercial challenge – adds Garbini – but now comes the hard part. ENAV is no longer a start-up, but rather one of the strongest players in the international arena. We need to keep our performance record excellent to remain on top.”
