June 11 – Italy and China are closer than ever, thanks to a visit of the Italian Prime Minister to Beijing. The two governmental delegations met at the end of the business forum between the two countries, during which Enel signed two agreements with the China Huaneng Group and the China National Nuclear Corporation, two leading companies in the electricity sector. “The agreements signed today – says the CEO and General Manager of Enel, Francesco Starace – mark the beginning of our cooperation with China in key sectors that will be critical to overcome our energy challenges. These arrangements also acknowledge the contributions brought by Enel with its technology and experience in the electricity industry.
