Beijing – Italy’s Ambassador Alberto Bradanini and Director General of the Department of the Chinese Cinema Zhang Hongsen signed in Beijing the rules of procedure for the implementation of the film co-production between Italy and China. Under the treaty, each film co-produced will have dual citizenship, Italian and Chinese, and will have access to all the tax benefits and public incentives that the respective governments provide for the promotion and dissemination of film culture. For the Italian cinema, the agreement, which also covers television and fiction, offers the possibility to enter the Chinese market. It could be also used to promote Italy and its film culture.
