July 21 – One of Italy’s best ambassadors in the world, Grana Padano, goes to Japan thanks to the official delegation from the city of Nagoya to the Consorzio Tutela Grana Padano. The delegation met with President Nicola Cesare Baldrighi in view of the consortium’s promotional program in Japan for 2014-2015. Matsuoka Toshio and Ukai Kenji, respectively director general and secretary-general of I-BAC (Aichi-Nagoya International Business Access Center), led the delegation. I-BAC is the special authority to support international projects in Japan. “In Japan the charm and appeal of Italian food is already very rooted in mainstream consumption patterns. Our commitment in the coming years will increase accordingly – commented Baldrighi – This first project with Nagoya will allow us to identify the most important themes and contents that we should further develop.”
