July 29 – The Umbria Region is mobilizing in favor of Gaza with a contribution of €20.000 to help the local population. “The situation in Gaza is increasingly dramatic and a ceasefire is urgent. Israel’s security is important, but there have been many, too many, civilians and children killed,” said the Region’s President, Catiuscia Marini. The Region’s contribution will go in favor of Italy’s Technical Unit in Jerusalem, and of the Italian Committee for UNRWA. The donation will help bring health services to the local population.
