(Aug. 12) The Locarno public responded very well to the presentation of “Perfidia”, the debut movie of Sardinian director Bonifacio Angius, who competes for the “Golden Leopard” in the International Competition. His work tells the story of a complex relationship between father and son trapped in the economic crisis. “Perfidia”, produced by “Il Monello Film,” is the only all-Italian production running in the International Competition of 67th edition of the Festival, which ends on August 16. This is Angius’ second movie, after his 2011 medium-length debut, “saGràscia.”
