(October 3) The Nobel Prize in Physics Carlo Rubbia and Adam Riess are among the world-renowned experts who will take part in the “Galileo: l’Esplorazione dell’Universo – Galileo: Exploring the Universe”, which provides a series of events to be held in Washington from October 9 to December 12. The event was created to celebrate the 450th birthday anniversary of the modern science father. “Galileo has allowed humanity to start the first concrete steps in understanding and exploration of space – said Italian Ambassador in the United States, Claudio Bisogniero – Italy remains the protagonist, with astronauts, scientists and business leaders, in the aerospace industry”.
