Montreal – “Performigrations: People are the territory” is a new two-year long cultural project supported by the European Union with the participation of European and Canadian partners. The project, which sees as partner the Italian Institute of Culture in Montreal, brings together a network of artists, universities, cultural organizations and foundations that will explore the themes of mobility, cultural identity, change and diversity. The project will be officially launched on October 30 at 6.30pm in the hall of the Italian Institute. Its goal is to promote in the participating European Union countries and in three Canadian provinces a number of artistic and cultural events, enhanced by the results of academic research on mobility and migration.
