Oct. 22 – French Location, Italian mind. This is the magic formula for “La Grande Exposition Universelle,” which opens tomorrow in Paris in the exhibition spaces of the Eiffel Tower. The curators of the exhibition – which displays 81 artists from different countries – are three Italians: Sandro Serradifalco, art critic and founder of the International Biennial of Palermo and animator for “Effetto Arte Editore,” Salvatore Russo, and Francesco Saverio Urso. The show (staged in the grand “Salone Gustave Eiffel”) is a compendium of the most interesting emerging artists in the international, contemporary art scene: from New York to Beijing, passing by Rome, Toronto, Paris and Tel Aviv. This real “universal” show takes place on the 125th anniversary of the Universal Exposition in Paris. At the opening, scheduled for tomorrow at 10.30am, Jose Van Roy Dali, painter and heir of Salvador, will be present.
