Washington – The Italian start-up RSens, born as a spin off from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Trento, joined the American market with a new air sensor for the detection of radon gas and indoor pollutants. Unimore researchers use the new equipment to create and refine more and more technologically sophisticated tools that can monitor air quality in the workplace, at home, and within any home environment. In particular, Aria detects the presence of indoor pollutants and radon, an odorless, extremely harmful and dangerous gas. Aria is able to continuously measure air components and can send the results and trends to smartphones and tablets. (9Colonne)
