Los Angeles – On November 12, the AFI Fest in Los Angeles Special Tribute will pay tribute to Sophia Loren on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of her Oscar nomination for her performance in “Marriage Italian Style”. The audience could attend the screening of a restored version of the film directed by Vittorio De Sica. An interview to Sophia Loren will enrich the evening, during which the actress will trace the most important moments of her career. The short movie “The Human Voice”, in which she has been directed by her son Edoardo Ponti, will be also screened during the event. (9Colonne)
