Dec. 8 – From the masterpieces of classical statuary to Michelangelo’s Pietà, passing by the modern sculptures of Fontana, Giotto, Leonardo Da Vinci and Caravaggio’s paintings, and those of Van Gogh, Chagall and Dali, without forgetting the extraordinary frescoes of Raffaello’s Rooms, “The School of Athens”, the spectacular masterpieces by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel, such as the “Creation of Adam,” and the majestic “Judgement”. These are the elements that make the journey unique and exciting. “Vatican Museums 3D” is a film that will be screened from December 11 to December 31 in Moscow thanks to the collaboration between Nevafilm Emotione and the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow. The film is an extraordinary journey to discover the most impressive works of art collected in two millennia of history and brings for the first time Ultra HD 4K / 3D cameras and the dimensionalisation technique used by James Cameron inside the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The result is the masterpieces of Rome as they have never been seen before. “Vatican Museums 3D” is a mega-production made by a team of 40 professionals who explored the length and breadth of the Vatican Museums: suggestive shots made at night through the halls that house some of the most rare and precious artistic works in the world, ranging all cultures and all ages, thanks to the authoritative guidance of the Director of the Vatican Museums, Professor Antonio Paolicci.
