Beijing – Michelangelo Galeati is on tour in China with the Naples Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The initiative, part of a three-year project created and promoted by the Berlin Entertainment Sven Göttlicher in collaboration with Klaus Richter, consists of ten events in different cities in China over the course of two weeks. The tour will start on December 22 in Beijing. The Naples Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is the first official youth orchestra founded to spread, in Italy and abroad, Neapolitan music, finding a perfect meeting point between classical tradition and popular practice, reaching very high levels in terms of vocal and orchestra performance. The tour will mix the most important arias of the famous Neapolitan repertoire to Strauss waltzes and marches, characteristic of the New Year concerts. Solo voices, led by Michelangelo Galeati, include the soprano Flavia Colagioia, and tenor Romolo Tisano. The project brings together fifty young musicians from the Conservatories of Naples, Campobasso, Rome, Bari and Benevento. (9Colonne)
