Feb. 6 – “A photograph shoudn’t reproduce what is visible, rather it should make the invisible visible,” wisely said Franco Fontana, the photographer of colors, who for the first time will be presented in a solo exhibition in Madrid at “World Galería.” “Color”, created in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of the Spanish capital and Sabrina Raffaghello Contemporary Art, will open on February 20 and run until April 4. “The photographs of this prolific Italian creator – reads the statement by the Italian Cultural Institute – show a world that the author created within the parameters imposed by the lens.” According to Fontana, “there are many landscapes of the soul, as many as the artists that paint, photograph, write poems, books or music; beauty itself is a work of the soul that is born from the sensitivity and passion of those who can grasp it. A book, when it is finished and published, begins to live its life and the readers will become new authors. Just like that, any landscape or work of art begins to live the moment it is seen, and truly perceived from the eyes, the heart, and the mind, entering the soul of the viewer.” (Red)
