Madrid – “La isla minimum” by director Alberto Rodríguez triumphed at the Goya, the main awards of Spanish cinema: of 17 nominations, the film brought home 10 awards, including those for best film, best director and best original screenplay. But the Goyas left some room for Italian talents. The award for best animated short film went to “Juan y la nube,” produced by Zampanò, a company based in Madrid, but headed by the Italian Giovanni Maccelli and his Spanish wife Carlota Coronado.
