Istanbul – Scheduled for March 5-8 in Istanbul, Turkey, Foteg Fair is the first fair in the Turkish market specializing in food machinery and processing technologies. In the 2013 edition, there were about 15,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors, of which 550 from abroad. This year, there will be a collective from Friuli Venezia Giulia, in Hall 2, coordinated by Concentro – the Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone in collaboration with the regional chamber system within the FVG Vs. Global Competition project co-financed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Turkey has become an important market for European food machinery manufacturers and suppliers active in the fields of packaging, additives, and bakery technologies. Turkish consumers are becoming more sophisticated and demanding, leading to a progressive demand for healthy and quality products, as well as prepared and packaged foods. (9Colonne)
