Philadelphia – Fabrizio Miranda – PhD candidate at the University of Palermo – received from the American Association for Cancer Research and the Pezcoller Foundation the Scholar-in-Training Award “based on the quality of the abstract presented” to participate as a “Meritorious European young investigator” at the 2015 annual meeting of the same Association, scheduled in Philadelphia April 18-21. This selection is particularly competitive as only the top 10% of the participating scholars are honored. Miranda is currently working as a Post-Doc researcher with Professor Ahmed Ashour Ahmed at the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (NDOG) in Oxford. (9Colonne)
