Pittsburgh – Two economists at the University of Bologna, Giacomo Calzolari and Vincenzo Denicolò, were honored by the Association for Economic Competition with the Best Paper Award, given annually to the best article in the field of economics and competition policy published in scientific journals. This is the first time that the prize is awarded to Italian scholars. The two professors won for their article on “Competition with Exclusive Contracts and Market-Share Discounts,” which appeared in the American Economic Review. (9Colonne)
