Tyre – In recent days, the blue helmets of the Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of the Italian contingent and Inter Campus personnel completed a project on sports training and education in favor of young school students in Tyre, Al Mansouri and Hannawiyah, three municipalities under the Italian area of responsibility. The project started last year and involved for five days many students with training sessions dedicated to football, as well as educational activities based on the values transmitted through sports, ethics and fair play. Inter Campus has been carrying out social interventions and long-term projects since 1997 in 29 countries, with the support of 200 local operators, using football as an educational tool to give back the “right to play” to children aged 6-13.
