(Apr. 3) The Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth, one of the most visited and important pilgrimage sites for Christians, because of a crumbling process, mainly caused by humidity, it was nearly to disappear. The Consorzio Kyotohaus, in collaboration with its subsidiary company Acco Solutions, assumed the prestigious position to realize the restoration project of the Holy Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth, so giving future generations the chance to see with their own eyes the place where the Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary the birth of Jesus. After two years of analysis and targeted surveys made on the spot (2012-2013 – Preparation for the restoration work), the Consorzio Kyotohaus got the upper approval from the Custody of the Holy Land to proceed with the work. To successfully complete the restoration project, the association ” Un listello per Cafarnao” (founded in 2010 by Father Pietro Kaswalder), in collaboration with the Cooperation of Trentino, the Cassa Rurale di Roverè della Luna and the Casse Rurali Trentine, activated the project ” Solidarietà trentina per la Terra Santa.” The second phase of the project involves the intervention of the restorer, under the supervision of the architect Enrico Pedri, with several different actions.
