London – “A Unique Artistic Voice” makes its debut at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art in London, where it is set to remain until June 28. Entirely dedicated to Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920), a true icon of 20th century, the exhibition is the first of its kind for Estorick. It focuses on Modigliani’s early works on paper that show the spiritual and stylistic influences that led to his unique interpretation of the face and of the human form, drawing from a wide range of influences: Etruscan, Egyptian, Greek, African, Asian and the Renaissance.
