June 19 – On June 22, Koper hosts “Sulle difficoltà di dire la verità”, a show by the Italian theater company ErosAntEros, inspired by Bertolt Brecht’s 1934 essay “Five difficulties for those who write the truth,” a military strategy manual through which it is possible to set out the programmatic rules to tell the truth and fight the lies of the powerful. Organized as part of the Summer Festival of the Littoral in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Ljubljana, the event will be held in the gardens of the Regional Museum of the Slovenian town of Koper starting at 9pm. ErosAntEros decided to disseminate this text along with some poems by Brecht related to the theme of the “difficulty to tell the truth” in a form entirely concentrated on the piano-vocal sound and live performance. The show features a vocal performance by Agata Tomsic with live electronics by Davide Sacco.
