June 24, 2015 – It’s an occasion to talk about refugees and reflect on the immigration phenomenon, today more relevant than ever. The Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels decided to do it through photography, with an exhibition that will be inaugurated tonight at the ICI Headquarters at 5:30pm, where it will remain until June 30. Through photos and quotes, the exhibition gives a voice to thoserefugees who travel to and through Europe. The exhibition aims to open a window on the world of Syrian refugees in Europe and their expectations for the future. It aims to shed light on the reasons behind their choice to settle in a particular country, as well as the pitfalls of today’s European asylum system. The exhibition was organized by the European Council on Refugees and Exiles in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels. (Red)
