Paris – Mechatronic Systems for Rehabilitation is an international double degree program at the Master level for Industrial Engineering jointly organized by the Departments of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Information Engineering of the University of Brescia and the ISIR – Institute Systèmes Intelligents et Robotiques of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, in Paris. The project, born in 2008 under an Erasmus agreement between the two universities, enabled to design training activities for rehabilitation and assistive mechatronic systems for people with disabilities. In the frame of this collaboration, the agreement has been enriched in a crescendo of shared experiences, now including common tracks to study and research thesis topics. The crescendo culminated, in the summer of 2011, to the two universities signing the Convention on the Reciprocal Recognition and the double degree title. (9Colonne)
