Brussels – Thirty years have passed since the Italian Farmers Confederation first set foot in Brussels. Since 1985, the IFC began, continuing without interruption, its European path that continues to see the IFC as protagonist and participant in various tables that transformed the European Union. The IFC has therefore wanted to celebrate this important anniversary with a special reception at its headquarters in Brussels, preceded by institutional meetings with the president of the Confederation, Dino Scanavino, with the President of the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the EU Parliament, Giovanni La Via, with the Comagri standing rapporteur for Expo 2015 and for the negotiation of TTIP, Paolo De Castro, and with the Deputy Permanent Representative of Italy to the EU, Ambassador Marco Peronacci.
