Erbil – The Italian military instructors of the “Erbil” Task Force, acting under the multinational control Kurdish Training Coordination Center (KTCC), have concluded a series of training activities that lasted 20 days in favor of the Peshmerga. The KTCC, currently placed under Italian leadership, brings together British, Germans, Dutch and Norwegians, who have completed the training of two Peshmerga Battalions, located in different training areas. The Italian training ended with exercises that certified the acquisition of full operational capacities, planning activities at the battalion command level, and the conduct of military operations in different environments. The Kurdish Training Coordination Center, currently composed of about 500 men and women from five countries, has trained since January about 2,500 units of the Kurdish security forces.
