21, July 2015 – Giulia Mazzoni, young pianist from Tuscany, has conquered Chinese hearts and will be releasing her debut album “Giocando con i bottoni” on July 23. She will present the album with a series of concerts in major Chinese cities. “China is a great thrill and a dream that I never imagined I would be able to live in my life – said the artist – I’m excited for this musical and life journey, a unique experience that will enrich me deeply as a person and as an artist . During the tour I chose to propose a very varied live program, trying to join the authors of the past and the present, creating a dialogue between them. In the concert, I will perform my compositions from Giocando con i bottoni, and I will also reinterpret contemporary composers belonging to minimalism and to film music, as well as the pop and rock musicians I listen to daily and the classical composers that are part of piano training.” The Chinese tour begins on July 23 in Tianjin at the Grand Theatre Tianjin; July 26 in the Xi’an Concert Hall; July 29 in Chongqing; July 31 at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center; and on August 2 in the Qintai Concert Hall of Wuhan.
