Zagreb – Adriano Chiodi Cianfarani has been chosen as the new Italian Ambassador in Zagreb. Chiodi will replace Ambassador Emanuela D’Alessandra, who in recent weeks received the official appointment as new diplomatic adviser to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. Aldo Di Biagio, MP for Area Popolare, and Area Chair for the Inter-Parliamentary Italy-Croatia Friendship Group, declared himself satisfied. “Chiodi stands out as a brilliant man, with a high institutional and professional profile – commented Di Biagio – I am confident he will be an active partner in the process of strengthening relations between Italy and Croatia, in a season in which the rapprochement between the two countries is particularly fruitful and meaningful.” (9colonne)
