September 1, 2015 – “It’s with immense pride that I see hundreds of people working in the musical business congratulate our Italian team for the energy, talent and originality expressed in the exhibition,” comments Massimo Romeo Piparo, whose “Jesus Christ Superstar” took the stage in the Netherlands. The Italian musical, an impressive show produced by PeepArrow Entertainment, was staged during the Uitmarkt Musical Sing Along of Amsterdam, one of the major cultural events of the Netherlands. Piparo’s was the only Italian production to make the cut: “And to think – said the director – that we’re in the realm of Stage Entertainment, the largest global entertainment company.” A special event presented the start of the European tour from Holland (on December 15 from Den Haag – The Hague, at the World Forum Center), and received the enthusiastic comments of Marc Müller, president of Tec Entertainment, which produces the tour in Europe. “We monitor trends of online sales and of the announced 14 titles, Jesus Christ Superstar leaped at the top of all the graphs,” he explained, “in just a few hours after airing the show, we sold over 2500 tickets online.” The international success anticipates the exceptional event of 4 September on the stage of Macerata’s Sferisterio, where, for the first time ever, Ted Neeley and the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar will bring to life and music the last seven days of Jesus. After Macerata, the tour will continue in Italy (at the Teatro Sistina in Rome, and in Turin, Florence, Parma, Bologna, Genoa, Reggio Emilia, Cremona, Bergamo, Padua, Ferrara, Modena, Cagliari, and Sassari), before moving to Europe: after the Netherlands, dates are being fixed for 2016 in Spain, Germany, Belgium, and Estonia.
