Prague – The Italian Cultural Institute in Prague has organized a reading from the book of memories of the writer, translator and German photographer Wolftraud de Concini. The event will take place on September 13 at 3pm at the literary cafe La Boema in Radnice (Rokycany). Born in 1940 in Trutnov, in the Czech Republic Wolftraud de Concini and grew up in Germany, but has lived in Italy since 1964. In her book, published in German and Italian, the author recalls her childhood in Bohemia, from where the family was expelled in 1945, and she describes her current relationship with the Czech people. Co-author of the book is Czech neurologist and publicist Milan Novák, who will attend the event, which will be translated into Czech. The event is organized by the Circle “La Boema” under the patronage of the Italian Institute of Culture. (9Colonne)
