Frankfurt – For Expo and its motto “Feed the Planet, Energy for Life”, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany – Itkam will organize with ENIT and Alitalia a culinary duel. To be held in Frankfurt, at Genussakademie, after the opening greetings the evening will consist in a culinary duel “Germany vs. Italy.” The country representatives in this case will be the German chef Hannelore Mayer-Stahl, owner of Romantik Hotel “Zum Rosenhof” by Hesserode, and Agazio Riitano, chef and owner of the Italian restaurant “Alte Kanzlei” in Frankfurt, part of the certified restaurants network “Marchio Ospitalità Italiana.” The chefs will be evaluated by a panel composed of Laura Melara-Dürbeck, Head of Delegation of the Italian Cuisine Academy in Frankfurt, Enrico Sauda, journalist for FNP, and Jacqueline Vogt, journalist for FAZ, as well as two members of the public selected during the evening.
