Brussels – The conference “2014-1914 The legacy of the great empires. The geopolitical legacy of the First World War and the role of Italy” opens on 16 September in Brussels the Veneto Region’s tour abroad to commemorate the centenary of the Great War. The tour was organized jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The program for 2015, which includes conferences, exhibitions, concerts, recitals, film screenings and projects with schools, was presented in Venice. Held from September to November, the Region brings its initiative to Brussels, Strasbourg Epernay, Ljubljana and Vienna, with a final appointment with the Italian high school “Da Vinci” in Paris.
