September 25th, 2015 – For the second consecutive year, the Italian Film Festival is in Berlin. October 2-4, the Babylon cinema will host screenings, meetings with guests and special events organized by the Tuscia Film Fest with the collaboration of the Italian Cultural Institute of the city. The first day will be dedicated to Carlo Verdone, and his latest film “Sotto una buona stella” will be screened as well as the documentary “Carlo!” by Gianfranco Giagni and Fabio Ferzetti. A meeting with the public in Berlin will present a special monograph in German and Italian dedicated to Verdone’s career, and will introduce the event that in October and November will screen some of Verdone’s most famous films in other cinemas in the German capital. With this tribute, the festival isn’t only celebrating one of the great masters of contemporary Italian comedy, but it is also promoting his art in Germany. (Red)
