New York – From San Gregorio Armeno to New York thanks to the La Scarabattola artisans, who have made a monumental nativity scene on Mercy for a church in Little Italy. Monsignor Donald Sakano of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral commissioned the Neapolitan nativity scene to show the faithful the tangible face of Mercy, the central theme of the Jubilee proclaimed by Pope Francis. The Shrine Church of the Most Precious Blood will be a jubilee church, and will remain open 24/7 to allow everyone to admire this work of art. The nativity scene Made in Naples will be inaugurated on December 8 in the church dedicated to San Gennaro. (9Colonne)
