November 3rd, 2015 – On the banks of the River Danube, the MittelCinemaFest is almost ready to inaugurate its 13th edition (which will take off on Nov. 5 and close on Nov. 15). The appointment, which has become increasingly popular over the years, is certainly the most important festival for the diffusion of Italian cinema in Central Europe as it is promoted and organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest and the Istituto Luce Cinecittà, in collaboration with Budapest Film, as well as the cinemas Pushkin, Tabán, and Urania and the Hungarian distributors Cinenuovo, Mozinet and Restricted Distribution. The festival this year will maintain its itinerant character and touch, and will touch upon Budapest, Krakow, Bratislava and Prague. The 2015 edition is expected to be particularly interesting, offering a selection of 14 Italian films released between 2014 and 2015. As in past editions, the films – screened in the aforementioned cinemas – will be presented by their directors and main stars. Guests this year will include director Edoardo Falcone, who won the David di Donatello Award in 2015 for Best First Work (“Se Dio vuole”), as well as the director of the documentary film “L’orologio di Monaco”, Mario Caputo and the protagonist, the Hungarian-Italian writer and director Giorgio Pressburger. The director of the film “Arianna”, Carlo Lavagna, the director of “Cloro”, Lamberto Sanfelice and the young actor Matteo Creatini, star of “Short skin” will also be there. All films will be screened in Italian with Hungarian and English subtitles. The full program of the festival will be distributed during a press conference scheduled for November 5, at 11:30am, at the hall of the Italian Cultural Institute Federico Fellini. (Red)
