November 20th, 2015 – On December 12 1915, in Hoboken, a town in Hudson County, in the State of New Jersey, Francis Albert Sinatra was born. A few years later he would become a legent. And for the centenary of his birth, the US pays tribute to the singer, actor and television host with a great concert. On December 11, San Francisco will host a double event in honor of the most popular artists of the 20th century: a reception, at 6pm, at the new headquarters of the Italian Institute of Culture (Opera Plaza Complex, 601 Van Ness Ave) and a concert at Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Ave). The event – promoted by the IIC in collaborazion with the Cole Porter Society – will feature wine and culinary excellence, and of course good music thanks to Federico Wardal and jazz singer Ren Geisek.
